Kinda funny and random question?

ok first, is there anyone else who once you get "the giggles" you can't stop? well i am one of those people.

now, when i got a c section with my son, afterward my mom got "the giggles" so i got the giggles.

my question: has anyone ever gotten "the giggles" right after having a c section?

i did and it was the funniest, most horrible (lol) thing that's ever happened to me. i was laughing so hard but crying cuz i'd never been in so much pain. just thought i'd share this story. seriously tho, picture that in your head. i still look back on it and can't stop laughing at the fact that even back then i could NOT stop laughing even tho i'd just had a major surgery that made it excruciatingly painful to laugh.

so anyone ever done that? i can't be the only one

Kinda funny and random question?
Well I cant say that's ever happened to me but reading your story actually made me giggle and now my bf is looking at me like I'm crazy lol. Thanks for the laugh!
Reply:That is very funny. But hey, at least you were joyful and not sad or miserable. I'm sure the giggles helped you recover quickly. :-)
Reply:oh yes! Glad you were able to keep your spirits up even in pain :)
Reply:Well, it wasn't right after the c-section... I was way too busy throwing up on the anesthesiologist to laugh! :) But in the next couple of days after - when your incision hurts the most - I would laugh a lot.... and unfortunately, it would be when I was holding my little guy and he would be bouncing all over the place because I was laughing! (I was holding his head, though, so no damage done!) But I was in so much pain and I felt so bad about giggling with him, but I couldn't stop - it was hilarious! We still laugh about it!
Reply:Wow. That sounds just like me and my mom! Whenever one of us starts laughing, we both lose it and get crazy giggles. I was kinda in the same situation as you though. When I was in labor and having painful contractions I just kept thinking how funny this must look to my husband and mom lol. I would start to laugh even though I was in pain! Then the whole room was laughing. My sister did the same thing when she was in labor.

I also have times where I'm at work or something and I remember something funny and have to try so hard not to just start laughing outa nowhere. Once something makes me laugh, I can't stop.

Laughter is wonderful. Keep it up!
Reply:Nah but dats cool ive never heard sum1 have da giggles after c section
Reply:My cousin had just had a C-Section and my husband and I went in to check on her. Not sure what I said.. but she got tickled and grabbed a pillow, threw it on her stomach, trying to hold in the laughter and at the same time told me she hated me and to get out of her room. ha ha! She just kept laughing and laughing but we knew she was in pain!!!! ha ha!
Reply:I had a bad case of the giggles right after they delivered my son. I was shaking so bad (have no idea why) and it kept making me laugh. People thought I was insane. Everyone else was teary-eyed and there I was a new momma laughing my butt off!! I wasn't in pain yet from the c-section because the spinal hadn't worn off yet.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one that happened to!!! I have to have another c-section in March so I guess I will be laughin' again!!!
Reply:LMAO. Nope, cant say that I have. That is too funny, though!
Reply:Wel, not exactly a giggle fit, but I remember my husband kept making me laugh and I was scolding him to stop it because it hurt so much!
Reply:i get the giggles after smoking bud sometimes!
Reply:I don't know about getting the giggles after a c-section, but my mom is a nervous laugh-er (my brothers and I are too, to some extent). When she and my dad got married (eloped), she couldn't contain it, and laughed the entire way through the ceremony! ^_^
Reply:Never had a c-section, but the thought of you getting the giggles, made me start to giggle :)
