MAKING A C.D from my own discs to computer . how? please help.?

i am having a party and would like to make up a load of c.d's rather than hiring a d.j.


also i dont want to be messing about with discs all night long..... i want the music to be fluent, and enjoy ourselves and on just put the discs on random play. i dont know how to transfer some music from my own collection to empty discs on my computer





can anyone please help me with this.


i would appreciate it in simple terms, i am not an expert on computers!

You need


blank CDs preferably CD- RW


A CD writer








Put the CD you want to record into the CD drive and click copy CD. When it finishes copying, it will eject and then you can put in the blank CD and it will copy the music onto the blank CD
Reply:nero rom is good download it for free, use limewire again free to find all the music you want and nero to make the discs

Reply:well basically if you have your music on your computer already:


1.) insert blank cd in to computer.


2.) a box should come up asking you what you want to do with the cd. Just cancle it out and we'll go about it another way.


3.) with the cd still in your computer, go to start


4.) click on "my computer"


5.) there should be an icon of a cd that is blank. double click on it.


6.) it should open up an empty folder. this is the blank cd.


7.) now open the folder with all your songs in it, and drag and drop the songs in to the folder of the blank cd. (make sure you only put 20 songs at most, as there is a limit of course to the ammount of time put on the cd)


8.) when you are done, it should have an option to burn the songs on to the cd.








try that and tell me how it goes.








If you are copying music from your cd's on to blank cd's you will need to first put in the cd you wish to "rip." (the cd with music on it) then an option box should come up. You choose to rip it on to a blank cd, but only check off the songs you wish to have on the cd. However an easier way would be to simply transfer the music from the cd on to your computer, and then follow the steps above.
