can u please help.
about 2 months ago i discovered this random circular shaped patch of what i would describe as dry skin that resembled exzema. i then noticed patches forming around my bikini line and then noticed them on my breasts, then my tummy. I have used creams like betnovate c, cortopin and canesten and a daktarin powder. it has almost dissappeared from my foot and bikini line, is clearing up on my tummy and breasts but every few days i am still finding small mini patches randomly ( like ive noticed them on the top of my back now, and it started off this way when they appeared on my tummy).
can anyone genuinely help with advice on what this might be?
I am a very private person and really really dont want to see a doctor....
Random patchs of rash/dry skin?
You should see a doctor. it might be skin cancer.
Go see one right this minute missy %26gt;:(
Reply:Does it itch? if so it could be scabies.
Reply:LETZ SEE GO TO WWW.WEBMD.COM TYPE IN UR PROBLEM THEN THEYLL TELL U HOW 2 GET IT OFF O AND GOOD LUCK :)
Reply:well try using la rocher posay, and use e45 to moiusture your skin :)
Reply:sounds like exima*
Reply:i get patches like that also, are they worse when you get hot? mine also usually itch. it is nothing serious just a skin pigmentation thing. i don't even put cream or anything on mine.
Reply:It sounds like you have a type of fungus. If not taken care of it will spread. The good news is that its easy to get rid of. Use Head and Shoulders medicated shampoo. Just apply it to where the rashes are and it should go away. Make sure you use it until the rashes are completely gone or else it will come back.
Reply:it could be hives, have you been eating any new foods or using any new lotions?
Reply:Yeah, but sometimes the thing we don't want to do is the only smart thing to do. Nobody here can tell you what you have. Even if we all had medical licenses, none of us can examine you, and that is really what you need.
Viruses and diseases don't really care how "private" you are. You need to show your rash to a dermatologist, and there are plenty of female doctors or nurse-practitioners who can help you with this better than anyone here.
Don't worry about privacy. You haven't got anything the doctor hasn't seen before. And where I live (and I imagine everywhere else in the lawsuit-happy US), there is always another female in the room when a doctor does, say, a gynecological exam, which you really should have at some point in your life.
I have ezcema on my hands and ankles. It flares up now and then and I have to see my doctor for a prescription. But if I don't deal with it it will only get worse. Bleeding on a client's papers when fissures in my hands suddenly crack open is not only unsafe, it looks really really bad.
Good luck and don't hesitate to see a dermatologist. I bet you'll be glad you did.
Reply:sounds like exima, but could be something bigger to worry about something like scabbes or ring worm... even though you may be a privet person when things like this happen you need to go to the doctor they are the only people who are going to be able to give you the correct treatment to get your problems cleared up
Reply:Could be anything from excema to shingles. I'm sorry but if it keeps recurring you really should see a doctor because shingles is contagious to people haven't had chickenpox. It could also be another allergic reaction to something you're eating or using.
Reply:I had the same problem.
A little bit of tomato ketchup (Heinz works best) rubbed into the areas and within a few days your skin will be glowing!
Reply:well it dose sound like eczema as that's how my daughters eczema started so plenty of moisturizer.
It may help if you drop in to your local chemist and get it verified as it maybe some thing more serious and they could just check it by taking a brief looking at a the rash if you have it on your arm or in a non embarrassing place.
Reply:Go to a doctor...Its the only way you can now for sure,If you feel embarressed about it go to a doctor you will never see again,Drive an extra mile to a hospital that is diffrent than the one you NORMALLY would go to =]
Reply:I think you are right, eczema, this may sound a bit personal, but do you like taking nice long hot showers or baths? If so, try taking short cool ones, and I know this sounds discusting, but every other day. Just wash well the off day. Also you might want to use Alveeno moisturizer in the am. and pm. Alveeno also has a body wash on the market also. That is the only thing that helped my grandson with the same thing. Good luck! just try it for a few weeks and if it continues, go see a dermatologist
Reply:maybe its a normal rash.. just used aleo vera gel or cream
but better see the doc.. u would want to end up with somthing bad..
Reply:well a doctor would know the best thing to apply, but just lotion reguarly dont use harsh lotions or scented ones, try changing what you use it could be allergic reaction to something. it really could be excema, but just use an anti-rash cream, or, go to walmart they have creams specifically for excema it will say on the box. if it doesnt clear up you really should go see a doctor cuz it could be something internal causing the rash
