Should random drug test be legal?

I think that as long as you pass the test to get the job, you should not have to take a random drug test unless you get hurt on the job or something. Who are they to tell me I can't enjoy a joint on my day off, its my time, they should not be able to tell me I can't.

Here is another why they should be illegal. Lets say you are totally clean and don't do drugs, then you are issued a random test that you have to take that day, but wait, you just remembered you had 4 popiseed bagles on your brake, now you are going to fail because it will show up positive for the test, now you lose your job, over something that you ate, thats f u c k e d up.

Should random drug test be legal?
If it's a pre-requisite for your job, and you KNOW that a random drug test policy is in effect, don't eat things with poppy seeds.

How tough is that?

(How much flavor do they add anyway?)

It's legal and protects both you and your company.

It's sort of like speeding on the highway. You know it's illegal, and you know you are liable to run into a random cop.

If you get a ticket, you cannot plead ignorance of the law.

Besides, you probably signed a legal document upon taking the job that states you are willing to let them test.

Let's see?

Job, or no job?

SUCH a hard choice.
Reply:If you don't like their drug policy, don't work there.

Most people are aware of the test when they first get to work. If your company does random drug tests, then the people working there should be well aware that eating poppyseeded anything can make you pop positive for drugs. Also, any decent company would make you take more than one test, to ensure it wasn't a mistake on their part.
Reply:If its company policy then don't work there, find another job.
